Things with Wings!!

If you are wondering what "Things with Wings" means...well, let me tell you!!  :)  It is our Fabulous Friday challenge this week at Frosted Designs!!  If you are anything like me, then I can bet you love adding those cute butterflies and birdies to your layouts and projects.  I actually have to restrain myself from adding butterflies to every page...and I've actually been known to add some to my little boy's pages!!  :)  But, things with wings aren't just limited to birds and butterflies.  You can get really creative...how about Angels or lady bugs and other insects??!!  Just some more fun ideas.

I finally received my awesome goodie package from Little Yellow Bicycle for being one of the winners in the Fall/Winter sketch challenge.  It was filled with the amazing Paradise collection and I decided to design my layout with the papers and embellies.

There are some totally adorable bird embellies included with the Paradise collection, so I added a few of those here and there.  For the butterflies, I used some Martha Stewart acrylic stamps and acrylic paint.  I just stamped them on some of the LYB scrap paper and then fussy cut around the stamped image.  The letters for the word "backyard" were also all fussy cut from one of the LYB papers!!
