Two in One Day!

****If you are here for my 300 Followers by 300 Posts Giveaway, please visit HERE.****

Most days it's hard to get just one layout completed, but somehow I managed to get two done yesterday!!  All 3 kids actually took pretty long naps, so I did one then and then finished up a second once they were in bed for the night.  And I have noticed that I am a little faster than I used to be.  I try not to over think things or wonder what would so and so have done on this page.  I just stick it down where ever I like it and go from there.  :)

The first layout is for the July/August Issue Challenge #5 at Club CK.  The challenge was to use paper clips, which was a great challenge because there are so many fun shaped paper clips out there right now.

I've had those little butterfly paper clips in my stash for a while.  I bought them at Hobby Lobby and knew they would be cute on a page, but just didn't have the opportunity to use them yet.  This was a perfect challenge, to break them out!  I used Sketch #219 from Creative Scrappers and it took me a little while to get on track, but once I got going things went quickly.

Products Used:  Patterned Paper & Stickers:  Simple Stories; Cardstock:  Bazzill; Paper Clips:  Hobby Lobby; Buttons:  Blumenthal Lansing; Pearls:  Kaisercraft; Thickers:  Amy Tangerine (AC); Punch:  Marvy

The second layout is for Case File No. 31 at CSI:  Color, Stories, Inspiration.  I really do love playing along with these challenges and I have been on the Watch List for the past 3 weeks, so that is pretty exciting news!!  The color scheme this week, was a bright and happy one and I knew the Amy Tan Sketchbook collection would be a perfect match.

I did some of my favorite things on this page...fussy cutting, die cut title, and misting/masking.  This page is packed full of American Crafts goodies...from Amy Tan papers...to Thickers...to Studio Calico wood veneers, Mister Huey's Spray Mist and Mister Huey's Circle Graph mask.  It makes a page go so much quicker when you can use products that coordinate!!

Here is what I used from the Case File:

Evidence - Wood, Repetition, and Circles
Testimony - Adding something to the top of your journaling (the fussy cut flower with the button center)

Thanks for stopping by today and I will have two more posts to share later this week.  On Thursday, I will have a post for Get It Scrapped and on Friday, we will have a new Fabulous Friday challenge posted at Frosted Designs!

Products Used:  Patterned Paper:  Amy Tangerine (AC); Wood Veneers, Mister Huey's Spray Mist; Mister Huey's Circle Graph Mask:  Studio Calico (AC); Thickers:  American Crafts; Fonts:  CK Psychedelic & Arial Black; Buttons:  Michael's
