If you look around at a lot of pages in Scrapbook Galleries, I bet you will notice a BIG trend...Geometric Shapes! They are everywhere and definitely an awesome element to use on your pages. So get ready for a fun Fabulous Friday challenge, at Frosted Designs!! We are challenging you this week to use Triangles on your layouts or projects!! You can have a lot of fun with this challenge and here is what I created for this week:
I wanted to create some motion on my page, so I cut several Triangles to create an arrow effect. I also embossed the shapes to add a little bit of texture. The chevron pattern is really popular right now too, and I decided to cut a strip of the paper to mimic the look of the other Triangles on my page. I had fun playing with the Simple Stories "Awesome" collection on this page. It is such a great collection for little boy (or big boy) layouts. And in the background, I used some bubble wrap to add a grungy look to the kraft paper.
I don't know about anybody else with little boys, but ours is an accident magnet!! He usually has bruises and bumps from head to toe!! I just couldn't resist snapping this too cute picture of him in his new Cars bike helmet with a big ole bandaid smack in the middle of his forehead!! Definitely typical! We got all of the kids bike helmets that day, for their new big kid bikes and of course he wanted to wear it everywhere!! :) The cut on his head was a mystery and we couldn't figure out what he did, so we just smeared on a little Neosporin and a bandaid for good measure!
Don't miss out on this fun challenge!! Come over and play along at Frosted Designs for a chance to win from our amazing sponsor, Mold Muse!

Love the angle and the arrows! My son was covered in bruises from the time he could crawl! He still is constantly coming to me with "Boo Boos" at 15 :)

OMG, that photo is perfect. I can see why you had to take it. I have a girl that is a bit accident prone as well! :-) I love this layout, and all the fun things you did to make this one extra fun. The bubble wrap grunge, the triangle texture and all the little "bits" around the page. This is perfect!
