2 the Moon & Back

Lately, I have found myself combining the Issue Challenge at Club CK, with the awesome sketches at Creative Scrappers!!  It's a great combination!!  :)  This week, the Sept./Oct. Issue Challenge #3, was to use numbers on your layout or project.  I decided to use numbers on my photos, in my journaling, and in the title.  Why not go crazy??!!

I stayed very close to this sketch, which doesn't always happen!  :)  I decided to use a horizontal title, instead of the vertical, since my title was a little longer and I wanted to include the cute October Afternoon flair button!  Most of the products on my page are from the very, very cute Rocket Age collection from October Afternoon, but I wanted to mix in some Washi Tape too.  The borders around the edge of the page are from My Mind's Eye and the chevron Washi is the Recollections brand from Michael's.  I stumbled across a massive wall of Washi Tape in my local Michael's the other day and almost passed out.  Now, being on the Love My Tapes team and already having about 20 rolls before that, I have to admit that I am up to about 40 rolls now!!!  But my philosophy, has become "one can never have too much Washi Tape!!".

And, speaking of Washi Tape...make sure you stop back by on Wednesday and I'll be sharing another layout for Love My Tapes, using some of their beautiful Lace Tape!

Supplies:  Cardstock:  The Paper Studio; Patterned Paper, Stickers, Rubber Charm, & Tin Pin:  October Afternoon; Wood Veneers & Mister Huey's Spray Mist:  Studio Calico; Fonts:  Arial Black & Brady Bunch; Washi Tape:  My Mind's Eye & Recollections; Punches:  EK Success & Marvy
