Echo Park | Hello Bestie

I am still in love with Talk Bubbles, so when I had to create a shaped card for Echo Park, it was a no-brainer!  The new Best Friends Forever mini theme collection is full of bright colors, and I loved using it for my card!

If you're wondering how you can create this same look, here's a quick tutorial!

The Talk Bubble was a single shape, that I found in the Silhouette store and welded together to create my card.

1.  Open your shape in Silhouette Studio, and then copy and paste a second shape.

2.  Now you need to flip your second shape.  To do this, click on your shape.  Then go to Object, Mirror, and then Flip Vertically.

 

3.  Once your shape is flipped, you are ready to weld.  Overlap the two talk bubbles, just a fraction and open the Modify window.  Then you can select weld.  Now your shapes are connected and you can cut your card, and then fold it along the center!

 

You could create a lot of fun cards with the Best Friends Forever mini theme collection, and find a variety of shapes to make a unique shaped card for a friend!
