American Crafts | See the World Through Goggles

It's Shimelle Minus Pink week on the American Crafts Blog, and I was up with a layout yesterday that featured a masculine look!  I think it's fun to see how a collection can change, just by omitting one color!  Although I don't mind using touches of Pink on a masculine layout, but other times it just works out better by leaving it out.

How to: Fussy cut several diamond shapes from the Harding patterned paper and adhere them to the Crane patterned paper. Once your diamond shapes are in place, run them through your sewing machine or hand stitch them onto your page. Cut the Be Happy 3x4 journaling card from the Goodall patterned paper and stitch a zig zag around the edge. Create a grid pattern on your background paper with the Be Happy card, your photo, and a small card from the Die Cut Cardstock Shapes pack. Add your title with the letter stickers at the bottom of your layout.  inish by embellishing your page with Cork Stickers, Rub-Ons, and stickers.

Make sure you stop by the American Crafts Blog all this week, to see how the Design Team takes on the Shimelle Minus Pink assignments!
