I am so excited to share my first post with Chic Tags as one of the newest Design Team members! And even more excited to introduce a new segment to our Challenge Sundays: Sketches!! We'll have our normal Challenge Sundays posted every two weeks and we will be alternating those with the Sketch Challenges...so you get 4 fun challenges a month! I hope you will come and play along with us! Here is our first sketch and my layout based on the Sketch:
These photos are from a cruise hubby and I took to Mexico, back in 2007. I decided to start using some of these on my layouts, because I did a small 8x8 album with some of our photos, but back then I still didn't know what I was doing! So I thought it would be fun to go back and create some 12x12 layouts, using the photos. The travel theme of the Road Trip tags worked perfectly for this layout and I paired them with the October Afternoon Travel Girl collection. I also used some of the Free Cut Files created for Freebie Fridays, that are available in the Chic Tags shop!
