Today it's time to reveal Sketch 268 for Creative Scrappers! I loved working with the circle design that Jenny Evans created for this Sketch. I don't use circle photos a lot, but I find I always really love the result when I do.
You may notice a lot of Yellow on this layout. It is my favorite color...with Orange coming in a close second. I either tend to hoard my Yellow papers or I just don't ever have any, because if I don't hoard it, I use it all up! HA! But there are some great Yellow papers included in the Echo Park Summer Bliss collection and I used them to create a light, bubbly look on my page, that complements the photo of our son blowing bubbles in the background. I used a fun circle cut file from Nicole Nowosad and a Kal Barteski cut file from Studio Calico for my layout title. I mixed in some Mustard Color Shine and Yellow Ink for my stamping, to coordinate with the Yellow papers. I also wanted to add in a few touches of color, so I fussy cut some of the burst circles from one of the patterned papers included in the Summer Bliss collection and added a few other colored embellishments.
Now, it's your turn to play along for the chance to win from our awesome sponsor, My Creative Scrapbook! You can complete Sketch 267 and Sketch 268 and link up on the Creative Scrappers Blog, by May 31st, for the chance to win!!
