There is just something about Summer time, that makes me want to break out the Red, White and Blue color scheme. It's perfect for those outdoor Summer photos and of course, those upcoming 4th of July photos. I've recently had some fabulous Red, White and Blue products fall into my happy little hands from Little Yellow Bicycle's Vintage Summer collection and the June Limited Edition Kit from Elle's Studio. I was pretty excited when I checked the Elle's post from yesterday and saw that they were doing a challenge for their Team Up week with Jenni Bowlin Studio. I only have a tiny amount of JBS product and it just happened to be some label stickers that were Red and Blue! YAY! I knew these would work perfectly with my Elle's June Kit and the LYB Vintage Summer papers. So I sat down and whipped up this fun page in about an hour.
I wanted to do something fun with the title on my page, so I used the Silhouette Sketch pens to cut Red and Blue. And I originally had White cut, using the Black Sketch pen, but it tore during cutting and I decided to go back and cut it in just the White cardstock. I liked that result a lot more. It was a Bob Ross "happy mistake" moment. :)
Thanks for stopping in all this week for all of my postings! I think this is the first time in a while, I've had a post 5 days in a row!! I've got to get some auto-posts ready for next week, because it will be c-r-a-z-y around here!! Swim lessons in the mornings for all 3 kids and then VBS in the afternoon at our church!! Oh the joys of a busy life!
