Hello There!

If you missed my post this past Saturday, I am the Guest Designer at Paper Secrets for the month of June.  Paper Secrets hosts two Sketch Challenges with a Twist each month.  Kristi sent me some of the adorable Irish FarmHouse collection by Jillibean Soup from their shop to work with this month.  The twist for the June 1st Sketch is to use a Treat Bag/or Envelope.  I shared a couple of sneaks on my post on Saturday, but wanted to come back today and share the full reveal.

The Irish FarmHouse worked perfectly with this photo of the kids waiting for the Raptor show at our local Nature Resource center.  They host an Outdoor Expo twice a year and we love spending the day there.  Almost all of the products on my layout are from the Kit that I received from the Paper Secrets Shop.  If you play along and link up your layout, you could have the chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the Shop.  The extras I added are:  Triangle mask from The Paper Bakery, Chevron mask from The Crafter's Workshop, Spray Mist from Studio Calico, wood button from Stampin' Up and a shipping tag.

One of the fun things about using Treat Bags or Envelopes on your layouts, is that it gives you a spot to add hidden journaling, a place for extra photos, or even for memorabilia.  I added a Decorative Bag (Included with the supplies from the Paper Secrets Shop) behind my photo and then used it for tucking in a shipping tag with my journaling on it.

You have until June 14th. to play along on the Paper Secrets Blog, and then a new reveal will go up on the 15th.  I will be sharing my second layout for the month on June 15 too, so make sure you check back for the new Sketch!

And before you go, we have a new Issue up on the Paper Issues Blog!  Come over and join in the Hop to see what the talented DT Ladies did with Doodlebug products, you can enter to win 1 of 2 Doodlebug prize packs, that are being given away, and you can link up your projects!!

Make sure you Like Paper Issues and Doodlebug on Facebook!!  Tell them Paper Issues sent you!
